The concept of embracing your flaws and imperfection is something very beautiful and blissful, both of them at the same time.
Also, sometimes it hurts to accept your flaws and find glory in your imperfections; yet, this is indeed a wonderful art of life when it comes to cultivating the first seed of self-love.
Wabi-Sabi is an aesthetic philosophy from Japan where the main vision is to bring out beauty in imperfections. It is said that with the passage of time, every wound heals.
And this is never possible for you if you are unable to accept your brokenness, and embrace your imperfections.
Just think for once, how will you look without any flaws? I am sure you will look beyond beautiful. Now, think about embracing your flaws and imperfections like they are precious parts of your whole being.
Think again. I am sure this time you will look at the mirror, smiling, and saying to yourself, “I am beautiful. I love myself.”
Because with your imperfections, you will look more beautiful as you will be shining like the moon, and your flaws will sparkle your magic, just like the shimmering stars in the dark night.

The concept of Wabi-Sabi can be applied to our daily life basis too. If you can conceive the idea of Wabi-Sabi in your everyday life, you will find more peace and calm.
The word ‘Wabi’ is referred to a feeling of loneliness that can be nurtured living far away from the noise of society, living in the lap of nature. On the other hand, ‘Sabi’ is referred to as chill or lean or withered.
However, from around the 14th century, the meanings of Wabi-sabi started to change, and thus it has been taking more positive connotations.
For me, in its real essence, the art of Wabi-Sabi sings the truth of life. Nobody can achieve a life that is perfect from every perspective.
Therefore, it is better to accept your life with all its imperfections. Rather, try to make your flaws your medium of change, so that you can bring transformation in your life.
Changing for the better is always a good idea. Whether it is for your everyday life routines, or your healthy lifestyle, you can always embrace changes so that you can transform yourself into the best version.
This is how I practice Wabi-Sabi in my daily life. I know there are many flaws in me, but I do not try to fix the flaws that are beyond my control. Rather, I focus on the flaws that can be changed for the betterment of my life.
When it comes to embracing my imperfections, I recall the art of Wabi-Sabi, and I try to find beauty in my imperfections.
This is a wonderful art of life in which you will discover the hidden truths of yourself, in the most beautiful way.
The more I find beauty in my flaws and imperfections, the more I find new ways to explore my beauty.
